This kitchen extension became a unique
project when we uncovered a historic 1860s
well beneath the foundations. We redesigned
the layout to preserve and celebrate it;
integrating a glass floor panel with lighting to
make the well a stunning feature, visible from
both the lounge and the kitchen. The new
vaulted ceiling with four skylights floods the
open-plan kitchen with natural light, creating a
bright, contemporary space that seamlessly
balances modern living with a sense of history.
